Bosch has a new roller brake tester, the BSA 251 Part Number 0986 400 B06, which offers precise braking force diagnosis up to axle loads of 4 tonnes (cars and vans). Built to robust, superior quality, this tester will give long service life and low maintenance costs.
The BSA 251 uses an electronic measuring system with a strain gauge for reliable and accurate information on all the important braking parameters. A built-in controller then provides automatic evaluation of all measurements.
The control cabinet, which has 2 large-scale 350 mm analogue braking-force displays, can be wall or postmounted and there is a parallel interface for an optional printer. Other features include automatic activation and restart, and a locked-brake cut-off. Remote control is available as an accessory.
The rollers themselves are hot-galvanized single pieces with a centre cover and splash-proof drive motors. The tester is supplied with flush mounted, galvanized cover plates as standard, ensuring unrestricted workshop floor space is maintained. Drive-out assistance is provided through self locking roller drives.
This equipment is an in floor facility and a professional team of installers will be required.
