EP-B (1 Days)

Diesel Basics (Theory and Practical)

Participants: Diesel Apprentice / Workshop Assistant with Minumum experience.

• The history and basics of Diesel systems, supply pumps, injectors and test benches.
• Test bench maintenance and mounting of Bosch type pumps onto the test bench.

EP-1A (4 Days)

A-type Diesel Fuel Injection (Theory and Practical)

Participants: Diesel Apprentice / Mechanics with at least 6 months experience.

• The Basics of in-line Diesel systems, supply pumps, injectors and timing devices
• Dismantling, assembling and calibration of Bosch "A" type pumps with governors RQ and RQV without Manifold Pressure Compensators.
• Use of Electronic Service Information and Service instruction system.

EP-1P (4 Days)

P &MW Type Diesel Fuel Injection (Theory and Practical)

Participants: Diesel Apprentice / Mechanics with 6 months experience.

• Dismantling, assembling and calibration of Bosch "P" type pumps with governors RQ and RSV with Manifold Pressure Compensators.
• Dismantling, assembling and calibration of Bosch "MW" type fuel injection pumps with pressure compesators and Altitude compensators.
• Use of Electronic Service Information and Service instruction system.

EP-2 (4 Days)

Pump Theory, Governor Theory (Theory and Practical)

Participants: Diesel Apprentice / Mechanics with sound experience.

• Theory relating to camshafts' profiles, plunger dimension, fuel quantities etc...
• Calculation and adjustment of speed droop (P-Grade).
• Testing and setting of RQV...K governors.
• Use of Electronic Service Information and Service instruction system.

EP-3 (4 Days)

VE...F type Diesel Fuel Injection (Theory and Practical)

Participants: Diesel Apprentice / Mechanics with sound experience.

• Dismantling, assembling and calibration of Bosch and Zexel VE...F type fuel injection pumps with or without Manifold Pressure Compensators and Altitude Compensators.
• Use of Electronic Service Information and Service instruction system.
